Our well-being relies on a continuous exchange of information between our brain and our body via the nervous system. This constant communication loop usually keeps our body functioning optimally, however if we are under stress, or incur an injury, or become infected, this communication is disrupted. When this occurs a negative loop or a blockage in the communication cycle can be created and the body has difficulty in correcting this. The body then gets accustomed to this unstable pathological state.
The SCENAR acts as a catalyst to interrupt the negative cycle and send a new message along the communication pathways of the nervous system. It does this by producing peptides for the body to use where necessary. It is these neuro peptides that in turn re-establish the body’s natural physiological state and are responsible for the healing process. The large quantity of neuro peptides that are stimulated in the central nervous system can also result in the treatment on one area aiding with other chemical imbalances, correcting sleeplessness, appetite and even behavioural problems.
What does this mean in simple terms? It means that when the Scenar device detects a blockage causing pain it sends a signal to the brain via the nervous system to release endorphins for pain relief and neuropeptides to promote healing in the the body. In addition, the Scenar reacts to feedback from the body and varies its signals to engage the body in the most effective manner.
The SCENAR device is intended to be used as an analgesic peripheral nerve stimulator, to be placed on the skin to treat pain associated with:
- Musculoskeletal problems
- Dental problems
The bioSCENAR facilitates functional restoration and improvement and is suitable for physical therapy and during labour/delivery.
We do not use SCENAR if you have any of the following conditions:
- Individual intolerance (hyper sensitization);
- Heart pacemaker;
- Serious mental diseases;
- Self-help in case of alcohol intoxication;
- Acute infectious diseases of obscure origin.
